Privacy

This notice explains how Ultreme Limited handles personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. It covers this website, people who email us, and customers of our hosting and consulting work. It is short on purpose. Hosting terms sit in the terms of service. What the site stores on a device is in the cookie policy.

Who we are

Ultreme Limited, company number 16215181, is the controller for personal data we collect ourselves. Our address is 132a High Street, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B61 8ES, United Kingdom. Write to Email.

Where we host or look after a system for a customer, the customer is usually the controller of the personal data on that system, and Ultreme is a processor. That relationship is set out in the written agreement, not on this page.

What we collect

This public site has no accounts, no checkout, no newsletter, and no contact form. We do not run an analytics product here.

  • If you email, we keep your name, contact details, and what you sent, so we can reply and do the work.
  • If you become a customer, we keep the details needed to invoice, support, and run the service you ordered.
  • Cloudflare sits in front of this site, and the host that stores the files sends the page. Both process connection data such as IP address, browser, and request time, so the page can be delivered and protected.
  • Your light or dark choice stays on your device. See the cookie policy.

How we use it

  • To answer you and to provide the service you asked for.
  • To send invoices and service messages about work we are doing for you.
  • To keep the site and any server we provide secure.
  • To meet a legal duty, including tax records.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it.

Why we may use it

  • Contract, or steps toward a contract, when you ask for work or buy a service.
  • Legitimate interests, to reply, to run the company, and to keep systems secure.
  • Legal obligation, where the law says we must keep a record.
  • Consent, only where we ask for it. You can withdraw that consent.

Who else sees it

We share personal data only where we need to: with Cloudflare, which sits in front of this site, with the host that stores these files, with the infrastructure operators behind a hosting service you have ordered, with our accountants where a record is required, and with a public authority if the law requires it. Those parties act on instructions or under their own legal duty. We do not pass your details to advertisers.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept while we need it to reply or to carry out the work, and then deleted. Customer and invoice records are kept for the life of the service and for up to seven years afterwards where tax law requires it. Server logs kept for security are kept for a short operational period, then overwritten.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict it, or provide it in a portable form, and you can object where we rely on legitimate interests. Email Email. We aim to reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk.
